Do I need to register for a new account if I previously have a herstory account? Yes. All previously registered account has been erased. Please sign up for a new account to enjoy all the facilities in the new herstory portal and get connected with thousands of womyn in Asia. |

Can I change my username? Simply email our customer service staff at help@herstory.ws with your existing username and your preferred username, and we will make the change for you. |

Can I transfer my kisses, grrrlfriends and messages to another Herstory account? You current BLACK, kisses, grrrlfriends and messages are not allowed to be transfer to another Herstory account even if this other account is yours. |

How do I cancel/terminate/delete my account? Terminating your Herstory account removes your profile from Herstory and deletes all your information from our database. You may still create a new Herstory account at any time after termination. To terminate your account, simply email us at herstory@singnet.com.sg with your username, password, email address and the reason for termination. Your account will only be terminated upon verification of your details. Please allow 1-3 working days for account termination. Please note that BLACK memberships are non-transferrable. If you are a BLACK member, your subscription will be forfeited once your account is terminated. |

Why can't I delete my own account? Due to security reasons, users are not allowed to delete their own accounts. |

I have changed my email address. How do I update my account? You may do so by accessing myHaven from the console panel after you signed in. You may change your email address, password or make your profile adjustment under MySettings tab. |

Can't log into your Herstory account with the correct username and password? Please close all internet browser windows, clear cookies and cache on your computer, and log into Herstory again. If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer, close all browser windows and go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Internet Options > Delete Cookies and Delete Files. Then start your browser and log into Herstory again. |

Can't view user profiles after logging in? If you are a non-BLACK member, you may only view 5 user profiles a day. To find out more about BLACK, please refer to BLACK link on the top right menu bar or www.herstory.ws/black/ |

Didn't receive your Herstory account activation code? Please ensure/check: Your email address is entered correctly. Your email account mailbox is not full. The Junk / Trash / Bulk / Deleted / Spam folders of your email account for the account activation email. Create a filter/rule in your email account to direct all herstory emails to your Inbox or a specified folder, and request the account activation email to be sent again. To request for another account activation email to be sent, just log into Herstory with your username and password and follow the instructions that appear. If you still fail to receive the account activation email, your email service provider may have blocked our emails. As such you may wish to apply for a free Webmail account (Yahoo, www.yahoo.com, or Hotmail, www.hotmail.com) and change the email address of your Herstory account to this one. |

Forgot your Herstory username or password? You may retrieve your Herstory username and password if you can provide the email address that you used to register your Herstory account. Please click on Forgot Username/Password (on the top Login section) to have your username/password sent to your email address. |

How do I subscribe to BLACK if I do not have a credit card? You may wish to email our friendly customer service staff at herstory@singnet.com.sg for other offline payment modes. i.e. Cash deposit, bank transfer and cheque. |

I have made a cash deposit or deposited a cheque into your account. Why am I still not a BLACK member? We will activate your BLACK membership only when the payment is reflected on our bank statements. This would usually take 2 to 3 business days. |

How do I remove my profile? To remove your profile, please remove all photos, including those in your photovault, your blog and all other personal details in myProfile and myHaven. Please note that removing your profile is not the same as terminating your Herstory account. To terminate your account, simply email us at herstory@singnet.com.sg with your username, password, email address and the reason for termination. Your account will only be terminated upon verification of your details. Please allow 1-3 working days for account termination. Please note that BLACK memberships are non-transferrable. Why have I been re-billed when I have not agreed to extend my subscription? This auto-renewal is part of the Paypal agreement that was included in your initial sign-up for your convenience and for which you have acknowledged upon signing up. You have the option at any time of cancelling the Paypal agreement after sign-up by following the instructions in the email sent to you by Paypal when you first signed up. However, if you wish, you may email herstory@singnet.com.sg at least five business days prior to your renewal date and we will gladly assist you in the termination of your BLACK subscription. |

I am given grrrlfriend status by user, but I still couldn't access her photovault pictures? If you are Non-BLACK user, It might be you have reach daily limit to view 5 profiles per day, that's why you couldn't view the photo although you are given grrrlfriend status, try access the photo again until next day or join BLACK at www.herstory.ws/black/ |

Why am I unable to use the features on Herstory? You may have been banned from using our services. Reasons might include user spamming or any other violation of our Terms of Service. |

How will I know if my message or my kisses box are full? You may click on myHaven then MyMessages or MyKisses on the console bar. The status of your current message and kisses capacity will be shown. |

Why am I not able to view pictures in Herstory Events and Black Album in Photovault? A non-BLACK user may only view thumbnails in Herstory Events and Black Album in Photovault. You may want to consider becoming a BLACK member in order to view an unlimited number of pictures. What's the difference between a non-member, a member and BLACK member? Non-members can read any article on Herstory whereas members (registration is free) can view and post in the forums, view up to 5 profiles per day, view limited pictures in Photovault, perform selected searches and send a limited number of messages and kisses. A BLACK subscription will allow users unrestricted access to Herstory Personals service with thousands of profiles. BLACK members will enjoy priority placement in search results; view unlimited profiles, exclusive Herstory events galleries and Private Photos uploaded by other BLACK members; use the Advanced and Interests Search functions and enjoy unlimited Mail and Kisses storage. For Microsoft Outlook 2000 User : Click on Tools > Options > Security Tab Change the Secure Content Zone to "Internet" and click OK. My profile is not updated after amendment? Your profile may not show the latest updated version due to internet Browser & your ISP Server cache issue right after you amended, please wait for awhile and refresh your profile again. |

You only need to save the image at 72-dpi resolution. 4. Filenames should not contain any space, hyphen or special characters. Filenames should preferably be entirely in lowercase. 5. You may upload a maximum of 10 pictures in your photo album. |

In order for users to see your avatar when they browse your profile, please following the step below: 1) Logon to herstory with your username and password 2) Click on "myHaven" in console panel 3) Go to MyAlbum, on the left hand panel select Your Avatars 4) Browse image to upload 5) Click on Upload or remove Avatar button Before uploading, please note: 1. All avatar images must be in GIF or JPEG format. 2. Image filesize must not exceed 50 kB each. 3. Image dimension should not exceed 100 x 100 pixels.
